Akita/German Shepherd, arrived at Gimlet Ridge in April 2019. Steady, watchful, and quietly in charge: she's spent years keeping an eye on the yard, the delivery truck, and everyone she loves. She is the Secretary of Defense who serves her duty from the yard, by the door, and even on the couch.

Visit Sunny's memorial →Dobermann, 14 years old. She started turning up at Gimlet Ridge on her own, settled into the spot by the door that had always been Sunny's, and never quite agreed to go home. First called Duchess, then Ding Ding, she turned out to have been a queen named Bonnie all along. She doesn't visit anymore. She lives here.
